Elaine Mitchel
Elaine has been with Missouri Reading Initiative for six years with the concentration of her time working with grades 6 -12 teachers. Her focus is on supporting intermediate, middle school, and high school teachers as well as working with teachers in other content areas. Elaine lives on a farm in Steelville, Missouri, with her husband and loves to spend time with family, travel, read, and quilt. According to Elaine, “My favorite thing about working with MRI is the ability to contribute to so many districts across the state. I love to collaborate with teachers and continue to grow as I support others.
