Rebecca Haseltine
Rebecca has served as Director of the Missouri Reading Initiative since its inception in 1999. She obtained her master’s and specialist degrees from Missouri State University and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Rebecca’s roles in education include being a teacher, demonstration teacher, elementary coordinator, principal, college professor, educational literacy consultant, and statewide director of Missouri Reading Initiative. Her efforts of increasing teaching and learning skills and motivation among teachers, as well as students, have always been a primary focus in her career.
